Delete your account
Once submitted, this request begins an irreversible erasure of your identity from the laceup system. Read everything below carefully.
What this action does
- Your account credentials are dissolved. You can no longer sign in, recover access, or contest the deletion.
- Every run, route, split, photo, comment, message, guild affiliation, and territory you have ever held will be detached from your identity and queued for destruction.
- Your captured km², your leaderboard standings, your personal records — gone. They do not survive in a backup.
- Friends, training partners, and guild members will see your handle vanish from their feeds, chats, and shared activities without notice.
- Any unused credits, subscriptions, or in-app purchases are forfeited in full. We do not refund.
This cannot be recovered
You are not being deactivated. You are not being soft-suspended. There is no cooling-off window after the request is processed. We do not maintain a recovery archive for deleted accounts and we will not be able to restore your data even if you ask us. The cryptographic keys tied to your account are destroyed alongside it. You are not coming back as the person you were.
If you register again with the same email at a later date, you will be a new user with an empty history. No friends, no guilds, no streaks, no records, no territory. The map will not remember you.
You are not liquidated. You are not being sold. Your data is not transferred to a third party as part of this process — it is unmade. The system does not retain a shadow profile, a fingerprint, or a behavioural model derived from you after the erasure cycle completes.
Limited records may persist only where the law requires us to keep them (financial transaction logs, fraud and abuse reports, compliance audit trails). These records are sealed, non-identifying where possible, and not used to reconstruct your account.
Erasure Timeline
Request acknowledged. Sign-in disabled immediately.
Public traces (handle, posts, comments, territory) removed from feeds.
Final cryptographic erasure. Account ceases to exist.
